Enerheads has signed a cooperation agreement with Future Energy, UAB to optimize a 56 MW stand-alone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Raseiniai, Lithuania. The project is scheduled to begin operations in 2026.
The partnership combines Future Energy’s project development expertise with Enerheads’ optimization and trading capabilities. Once operational, the Raseiniai BESS will participate in balancing and energy markets, providing services such as frequency containment, reserve capacity, and intraday trading.
This agreement strengthens both companies’ positions in the growing Lithuanian energy storage sector and supports the region’s transition toward a more flexible and renewable-driven electricity system.
